Do Work resources and Workplace trust drive employee engagement? As Jack Welch states, No company, small or large, can win over the long run without energized employees who believe in the mission and understand how to achieve it. Very little research exists concerning the correlation between work engagement, workplace trust and work resources. With this gap in mind, this research aims to focus on how workplace trust and work resources affects employee engagement. Todays market in Saudi Arabia is needed for qualified and motivated Saudi nationals looks more like a fast-moving river than a mill pond. Moreover, the remarkable changing in the labor market in the Saudi Arabia has created a need to determine the issues of attraction, development, and retention of employees in the workplaces. Therefore, it is important to understand the factors, which effect on the work engagement. As current studies has demonstrated that work engagement linked to improved performance, productivity and attendance, as well as increased retention (Caplan, 2013). One study conducted on GCC region found that engaged employees not only demonstrate greater productivity, they also directly endeavor to support their organizations (Singh et al., 2012). the methodology: I will apply my research on the communication services sector in Saudi Arabia which include three companies: STC company, Etihad Etisalat Co, and Zain company ( I think quantitative technique might be better) please clarify the research gap in the proposal and make research questions ( 2 or 3 questions) I’ve added some information above, if they are not helpful you can change it.
